the space where something was

Oil on panel, 20cm wide x 20cm tall.

A softly lit study of a cup of tea. The cup is a traditional tea-cup shape with the handle to the right of the image. It contains medium strength white tea, filled to a comfortable level. The cup rests on a matching saucer. The cup and saucer are extensibly white with some minor, possibly floral, decoration.
